I wandered in off the net to look at the pre-raphaelites. Gracias por todas! I first became aware of this body of work quite by accident. The only time I have ever been to London, The Spouse and I were walking off the effects of jetlag. We were just walking down the street...and happened to past the Tate. Have you ever seen the gallery at the Tate where the Pre-Raphaelites are hung? It is a long room, two stories high. The walls are painted a deep red (I think...remember, I had jetlag). The paintings are hung, one on top of another, all the way to the ceiling. The experience of that room and those paintings is one of those life-time experiences. Best Wishes, Judith Abbott

It is wonderful to see some other Waterhouse fans are around. I happened upon his pictures about three years ago as I was abroad, studying in London for three months time. While there, I enrolled in the course taught by a gentleman directly from the Tate at the Tate. As an assignment, I composed an essay comparing and contrasting The Lady of Shallot with the well known, Ophelia (as they were hung in the same room). What a wonderful happening!!!! Thank you for compiling a gallery with Waterhouse pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
