LANKOM is a POLISH COMPANY that sells network
products in Eastern Europe and Germany.
Their network cards are make for them by 
HOSTLINK of Taiwan who remark the chips used so
that no one can identify where they came from.
Host Link sells this card to LANKOM under part
no. HT-940-PCI.

HOSTLINK get their parts from WINBOND of TAIWAN.
According to WINBOND this chipset in the card
will work in WINDOWS 95 with an NE2000 Compatiable
DRIVER, that comes standard with Windows 95.

WINBOND sell the chipsst for this card(before they
are re-marked by HOSTLINK) under NO."W89C940F"

According to Winbond these cards have never been
tested in WINDOWS 98 and they will make NO comment
as to whether or not they will work in WIN98, but
WINBOND claim that an NE2000 Compatiable driver
works just fine in WIN95.
